ABOUT
Dotayu is the result of many years involvement in training and education by Sanatan and Yoga Saraswati. Both lived in a yoga school for a combined period of over 20 years. Here they taught, lived and breathed yoga practices. Sanatan wrote and edited books on yoga techniques and Yoga taught many thousands of visitors that came to the 'ashram'.
When they left, Sanatan went back to formal education at university and Yoga worked with people with disabilities. Sanatan began doing small multimedia projects for his lecturers, as aids for courses he had completed. After graduating he worked at Griffith University, analysing, designing and producing multimedia learning objects. He did post-graduate studies and a Cert IV in training and assessment, as well as several other post-draduate and short courses and moved on to designing at a broader level, for whole courses and degrees. By the time he had spent 7 years at Griffith he had a wealth of experience in e-Learning design, training academics and other staff in e-Learning practice, learning management and the integration of associated systems.
Meanwhile, Yoga began formal training qualifications in aged and disability care and took on more managerial responsibilities.
Sanatan decided to broaden his experience into the VET field. He worked for the leading Games and Multimedia college in Australia, Qantm, lecturing, teaching and developing online courses, and helping Qantm achieve accreditation for delivering post-graduate courses.
As he began moving into a more consultancy role, Sanatan worked for a training business, Axial, establishing and integrating e-Learning systems, as well as designing and producing online, competency-based training courses. His most recent work has been for an exclusive e-Learning firm, SkillsAcq, where he consulted as well as designed and produced e-Learning resources for multi-national and other clients.
Yoga continues to add advice and experience from the fields of aged and disability care, as well as management and general running of business.
